Christmas 2011

We had such a wonderful Christmas. We spent Christmas eve with the Merrell's. We celebrated with Chinese food for dinner. Then Santa Clause (AKA Brother Sterile) Kasey's Dad came to visit. Lucee sat on Santa's lap, and she got a little disney doll. Thanks Santa!!! A high light of our night for sure! Then we opened sibling and cousin gifts. Lucee had Hallen's name this year and got him a super cool Brewster train. Audrey had Lucee's name and got her a really cute owl hoodie and the purple toy car from the cars movie. :D Then we all opened pajamas. Lucee and Audrey got adorable matching princess pajamas. So FUN! Then we did a live nativity. Audrey played the part of baby Jesus, Kasey was mary and Cooper played Joseph. I got to play the part of a wise man. Then we just ate treats and visited. It was so fun. I loved being able to see my sisters and family and It was my first time meeting baby Audrey. She is such a little sweetheart.

The next morning we got up and opened gifts. It was fun watching Lucee stick her head into gift bags and pulling out the paper. She got a dancing doll from Grandma and Grandpa and LOVED IT! She danced right along. She was also very intrigued with Cousin Cooper's T rex. Then we got ready for church. Kasey and I bought the girls gorgeous matching Christmas dresses. We shopped for them online while I was still in China. Chatting with her kept me sane for the most part. The girls were so beautiful in their dresses. We went to church and had a nice Christmas program. We met my mom and all my brothers there. And then...

We went to My Mom's for Christmas day. My mom made yummy cinnamon rolls that we munched on before gifts. Then we opened gifts and Santa knew Lucee would be at Grandma's and left her gifts there. She got a Glo worm and a cute cupcake book from santa. She was totally spoiled by uncles. She got a princess tent and an adorable hat. and Grandma Rue bought her a rocking horse that she danced to when the horse sand. She quickly figured out how to rock on it. Then we had a yummy Ham and Cheese dinner. We spent the afternoon laughing at Lucee and later that night we went to visit Grandpa Boyd. He spoiled Lucee with a sports center. She loved the music on it and the little basketball.

Thanks SO much to our wonderful families for making such a great holiday. We feel so spoiled and blessed.
