16 Months Old

At sixteen months Lucee is a riot. She has such a feisty little personality. I feel like I have missed a lot of little updates about Lucee since we have gotten home from China, so I am going to try to catch up.

At 15 months Lucee got 6 teeth and at 16 months two more a total of 12 teethies in that little mouth. Lucee was weened off her bottle at 15 months but is still LOVING her binkie. It will be a sad day for all involved when Binkie leaves. Lucee is a social butterfly and is loving playing with all the kids at church and our friends. She loves attention and will be a little diva to get it. Lucee loves playing with Grandpas and Grandmas. She loves Grandma Rue's cat. and Grandpa Boyd's dog. She chases them both relentlessly. Lucee has a curly head of strawberry blonde hair that has grown a ton since we got home. Must be something in the water. ;) Lucee is loving books right now and pretends to read. She also loves her soft blocks and bathtub toys. She gives the sweetest hugs. She will put her chubby arms around your neck and squeeze. She also gives kisses if you are lucky enough to get one out of her. Lucee loves crawling up the stairs but is scared to go down. She now says "cat, what's that?=(was at)while pointing and my personal favorite NO" Just kidding my favorite is really wasat??? it's so cute! Lucee loves pointing to every animal in a book and calling them ALL "cat". She loves music and dancing. I will turn pandora radio on my cell phone and she will just hold it and dance. She recently learned to blow kisses and blow on her hot food. Lucee loves playing outside and just today learned how to go down the slide all by herself. She cries when its time to go in.
We love our little spunky girl. I can't believe she is SIXTEEN months old, almost one and a half.
